Week 13!

We had a wonderful time celebrating the Readathon last Wednesday.  It was so fun to see the students dressed up in their creative costumes!  After the grand opening of our school's library, we enjoyed our afternoon in a world full of color inspired by the author, Eric Carle! Students listened to 4 different books and completed corresponding activities including making a “chameleon” out of slime, planting a seed to grow, creating clouds, and eating yummy pancakes. Thank you to all of the parents who helped make this day such a wonderful experience for our class! Please enjoy some pictures of the read-a-thon posted at the end of this blog!

Now that a new month is upon us, we will focus on the virtue of courage as we continue to work together as a team to seek the truth, beauty and goodness of our learning!
